[We are now accepting applications for the Fiscal 2020 Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT) Advanced Insect Research Promotion Center (AIRPC) Joint Research Program.]
京都工芸繊維大学昆虫先端研究推進拠点では、昆虫先端科学を活用したヘルスサイエンス研究推進プロジェクトとして共同研究課題の募集を次のとおり行います。
AIRPC is now seeking partners for joint research projects in health science which utilize advanced insect science.

採択件数[Capacity]
令和２年度の採択予定件数：１０課題程度
We will accept approximately 10 projects.
応募資格[Applicant Eligibility]
共同研究の代表者として応募できるのは、本学以外の大学及び国・公立・独立行政法人の研究機関に所属する研究者、又は民間企業・団体等に所属する研究者で本拠点長が適当と認めた者とします。（いずれも国内外を問いません。）
ただし、民間企業との共同研究の場合、オープンイノベーションでの実施を前提とします。
Applicants (project leaders) should be researchers at a university or a national, public, or Dokuritsu Gyosei Hojin (Administrative Agencies’ Institution) research institution. Researchers at KIT are not eligible. Applicants may be from a private enterprise or institution if the non-AIRPC researcher is approved by the president of KIT. Both domestic and foreign institutions are eligible.
Any joint research with private enterprise must practice open innovation.
公募期間[Application Period]
令和元年１２月２日（月）～令和２年１月１０日（金） 期限厳守
Applications will be accepted from December 2, 2019 to January 10, 2020.
No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
採否の決定[Selection Results]
共同研究の採否及び配分額は、昆虫先端研究推進拠点推進委員会で審査のうえ、本拠点長が決定します。
採否については２０２０年２月中旬までに申込者にお知らせします。
なお、採択の場合、速やかに(Word形式「共同研究承諾書（別紙様式２）」）を提出していただく必要があります。
The AIRPC Promotion Committee will review all applications and allocate funding to selected applications. The director of AIRPC will give final approval. All applicants will be notified of final selection decisions by mid-February, 2020. Persons whose applications have been selected will be required to submit a “Consent for Participation in Joint Research ” immediately upon acceptance.
応募方法及び提出書類[Application Procedure]
共同研究を希望される方は、本拠点の受入教員と事前に打合せを行い、所属長の内諾を得たうえで応募してください。
Applicants should consult with a responsible AIRPC member about their proposed project and obtain approval from the head of their institution (Form 2) before submitting a joint project application.

所定の様式「共同研究課題申請書（別紙様式１）」(Word形式)を電子メールの添付ファイルにて提出願います。
メール件名は【令和２年度共同研究課題応募】と明記してください。

After completing your Word file application form (Form 1), attach it to an e-mail with the subject line, “Application for 2020 Joint research,” and send it to Joint Research Strategies, Research Promotion, KIT (e-mail address: ken-senryaku@jim.kit.ac.jp).
申請書受領後３営業日以内に受信確認メールをお送りしますが、３日以上経過してもメールが届かない場合は、受入教員を通じてお問い合わせください。
We will send you a confirmation E-mail as within 3 days except holidays after receiving your application form. If you do not receive an E-mail, please contact us through AIRPC members.
研究期間及び共同研究経費の使用[Project Funding and Research Period]
研究期間は、令和２年４月１日から令和３年３月３１日まで（当該年度内）です。
１研究課題につき、旅費滞在費（本学の規則に基づく。）及び消耗品費として、３０万円を上限として支給します。
The standard research period is from April 1, 2020 to until March 31, 2021.
AIRPC will provide travel and lodging expenses according to KIT regulations. Consumable supplies will also be provided. The total of these joint research project expenses must not exceed 300,000 yen.
共同研究成果報告書の提出
[Annual Report Submission and Project Result Publishing]
研究期間終了後、「共同研究成果報告書（別紙様式３）」を作成し、電子メールの添付ファイルで提出してください。その際、掲載論文もPDFファイルの形式で、電子メールに添付して提出してください。（掲載論文、特許、受賞、マスコミ発表等は報告書の「５．掲載論文等」にも記載してください。）

Project leaders are requested to submit an Annual Report(Form 3) after project completion. The report and published papers (digital PDF) should be sent to Joint Research Strategies, Research Promotion, KIT as an e-mail attachment. (ken-senryaku@jim.kit.ac.jp)
Published papers, patents, prizes and press releases should be written in column 5 of your annual report.
